Pueblo Bonito

Pueblo BonitoPueblo Bonita is a timeshare company that features facilities located on some of the most popular beaches in Mexico. With facilities in the tourist centers of Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta, Pueblo Bonita offers guests the chance to buy into some of Mexico’s famed resort towns along the Mexican Pacific Coast. Established in 1987, Pueblo Bonita offers visitors traditional Mexican charm with the modern amenities most vacation goers seek.

In total, Pueblo Bonita owns seven luxury resorts, each one perched along the sands and featuring a number of services that many guests find attractive for their all-inclusive beach getaways. Each resort includes beach access, and a few of them even have private beaches for a more secluded experience. Though each facility varies somewhat, they all offer recreational options, including pools, spas, and gyms, among other things. Many guests also appreciate the fine dining experiences available at the resorts, something especially important since some of the facilities, such as the resort at Emerald Bay, are a trek from the city.

In response to the current economic climate, Pueblo Bonito has been running various promotions to attract families with children who are vacationing on a budget, drawing attention to the family friendly nature of the resorts. For the prime summer months, it is possible for kids to stay and eat free at under certain conditions. Pueblo Bonito also offers a Kids Club, which is available for an additional charge, and features activities especially designed for children, such as Pinata construction and seashell hunting.

Pueblo Bonita timeshares are available to rent or buy. The timeshares are affiliated with RCI.

Despite some glowing reviews from those who have enjoyed their time at the facilities, Pueblo Bonito Hotels and Resorts currently has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. Part of this rating stems from a lack of sufficient information on the company, but the rating also cites two unanswered complaints filed against the company, both of which revolve around contract-related issues.

However, this low rating does not necessarily indicate widespread problems with the timeshare system at Pueblo Bonita. Given the size of the operation, two official complaints may not be indicative of the company’s operation at large. Nonetheless, since the company does lack official BBB accreditation, it is wise for the buyer to at least be extra vigilant when considering Pueblo Bonito for a timeshare experience.
