MROP – ORE

MROPMROP – ORE(Multi Resort Ownership Plan – Owner’s Resort and Exchange, Inc.) has been around in some form since 1974 and is based in Utah. MROP was originally part of the Sweetwater Corporation under the name of Multi-Resort Membership Partnership. The company became it’s own entity in 1983 and changed it’s name to Multi Resort Ownership Plan. MROP started out with five timeshare resort locations and now has 58 properties in the Continental United States, Hawaii and Mexico.

MROP offers timeshare properties with studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units. MROP has over 11,000 weeks of timeshare ownership across it’s 58 resorts. MROP owners are given priority when staying at an MROP owned resort through MROP’s annual scheduling process. If the owners would like to stay at a non-MROP resort they must make a reservation.

Reviews of the properties are very good overall, with the majority of people being satisfied with the resorts, the staff, as well as their accommodations. Multi Resort Ownership Plan has a B- minus rating with the Better Business Bureau because the BBB does not have sufficient information about the company. There has only been one complaint filed against MROP with the Better Business Bureau in the last 3 years. The complaint was for a refund or exchange issue and has been resolved by MROP.
